Bungie says you won't need a PlayStation account to enjoy Marathon on Xbox and PC

In the past, Sony has tried to impose having a PlayStation Network on its PC games. This movement was heavily criticized, and even nearly cost it everything to titles such as Helldivers 2.

In the end, the Japanese company gradually backed down from this, making it a mere option instead and giving access to advantages. In the case of Marathon, Bungie (which has been bought out by Sony) has stated that a PSN account won't be needed to play on PC and Xbox Series.

Marathon will be presented on April 12.
