Actor and wrestler John Cena posted an enigmatic photo from GTA VI
, by Thibaut
The whole world is waiting for official information about Grand Theft Auto VI. It's been over a year since the first trailer was released, and we've had no news since that video was published.
Many questions remain surrounding the sixth opus. Casting is one of them, as we still don't know the identity of the actors and actresses who will play the characters in GTA VI.
John Cena set the Internet abuzz when he posted the game's official artwork on Instagram. Many assumed that the actor and WWE wrestler was teasing his appearance in the title.
However, such an appearance seems rather unlikely. In his Instagram bio, Cena makes it clear that "these images will be published without explanation, so you can make your own interpretation ”.
It's also worth noting that at the latest WWE show (Elimination Chamber), which took place this weekend, John Cena performed a “heel turn”. In other words, a change of personality that pushes a “nice” character to become “nasty”. Since the start of his career in 2002, Cena has (almost) always been nice, and many fans were desperately waiting for this “heel turn”.
Thus, we got a meme saying that we got a John Cena heel before the release of GTA VI, so the actor may have wanted to reference this by posting the photo on Instagram.
In conclusion, it's safe to say that there's no link between Cena and GTA VI.
