AMD has confirmed that the Radeon RX 9070 will retail for under $700. The exact price will be announced at the launch scheduled for February 28, but the company insists that 85% of gamers buy cards under this threshold, which guides the pricing strategy for the RDNA4 series.
Rumors have suggested higher prices, including a leaked starting price of $739 at BestBuy. AMD has yet to confirm it, but is highlighting several axes for the RX 9070:
- Optimized performance in 1440p and 4K
- Enhanced ray tracing
- Use of 8-pin connectors for easy upgrading
