The sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 could feature an ultra-realistic crowd system

While The Witcher IV is CD Projekt RED's next big game, the studio is also laying the groundwork for Project Orion, the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077.

That's why several job offers have recently been posted online. The company is looking for a lead encounter designer for its team based in Boston, USA. The person recruited will have to participate in the implementation of "the most realistic and reactive crowd system in any game to date".

It could be that this second game will feature huge crowds in which NPCs will behave in a believable way. Of course, it's also possible that this feature will be dropped during development. Nevertheless, CD Projekt RED seems to be aiming pretty high with this new Cyberpunk.
