Balatro announces a big update for this year

In an interview with Bloomberg's Jason Schreier, developer LocalThunk teased some new features for Balatro.

These new elements are coming in the 1.1 update, including new jokers and other features. There's no concrete details on it just yet, as it's still a work in progress and not everything may be included in the final patch.

However, LocalThunk has announced that they will make some changes to the Matador joker and the Blue Deck modifier.

The update will be released this year.
