The E3 organizers announce iicon, a new gaming gathering
, by Thibaut
While E3 may now be a thing of the past, the Entertainment Software Association (or ESA) intents to reinvest in the field of video game events.
With this in mind, it has announced the Interactive Innovation Conference (iicon for short), to be held in Las Vegas from April 27 to 30, 2026. The event is described as an "essential convening for change makers across industries."
However, it's mainly about video games, with some prestigious company taking part in the event. The list already includes Amazon Games, Disney, Electronic Arts, Epic Games, Microsoft, Nintendo of America, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Square Enix, Take-Two Interactive, Ubisoft and Warner Bros. Games.
ESA's CEO has said the following about his ambitions for iicon.
"With iicon, we are creating a space for visionaries across industries to come together, connect and reimagine what’s possible through interactive entertainment."
