Paradox Interactive acquires Haemimont Games (Tropico)
, by Thibaut
For once, we're not going to talk about a closure, but rather an acquisition. Publisher Paradox Interactive has bought Haemimont Games.
Founded in 1997, this is a Bulgarian studio known for titles such as Tropico 5 and Nagged Alliance 3. We don't know the exact amount, but founder Gabriel has spoken out on this.
"We're delighted to become a part of the Paradox family! The cultural fit between our companies is remarkable, and we already feel at home."
"This partnership empowers us to push the boundaries of our games, delivering deeper and more intense experiences to our players. It also opens new horizons for our team, technology, and creative processes, which we're eager to explore. Expect amazing new games from us!"
Paradox President Fredrik Wester has also welcomed Haemimont Games.
