The next Battlefield will be released in October 2025 and could be very different from the previous entries

For the time being, we know about the next Battlefield because some rumors from last September. The game is being developed by four studios and is set in a modern historical context.
According to an industry professional working at Amazon Games, this new game will be very different from its predecessors. According to him, 98% of the developers who worked on the previous episodes have left EA. DICE executives formed Embark Studios, and other created TTK Games.
The American publisher is also said to have been impacted by a major change in leadership following several commercial failures (Mass Effect Andromeda, Anthem and Battlefield V just to name a few). In May 2021, former Call of Duty general manager Byron Beede was appointed by EA to lead the Battlefield IP. All these things put together make the next entry stand out from the rest of the license.
Last but not least,, this next-gen Battlefield could see the light of day as early as October 2025.
