PvE shooter The First Descendant has lost 96% of its Steam player base in six months

Back when it released on June 30, The First Descendant managed to get over 10 million players in just one week across all platforms. Sadly, the situation is a little more worrying in 2025.

The free-to-play PvE shooter by Nexon has lost 96.4% of its Steam players in six months. Last june, the game achieved a peak of 264,860 concurrent players on Valve's platform. In the last 24 hours, the pack was of 9,781 players at the same time.

Devs will have to find a way to bring players back with new content and gameplay improvements, and fast.
