Suicide Squad's story ends in a 2D cinematic... with a surprising twist

Rocksteady has clearly gone to great lengths to try and tie the story of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leage. Keep in mind that, from now on, the game won't get more seasonal content.
To bring this disaster to a close now, the British studio has done a very brief 2D cinematic in which the lack of budget is fairly, cruelly obvious. Worse still, the story ends with an astonishing revelation courtesy of a Harley Quinn's voice-over.
BEWARE SPOILERS
In the end, the Batman of the Arkham games didn't die at all. He was but a clone, just like the members of the Justice League who were killed. Rocksteady leaves open the possibility of reusing those characters in a future game... that we we desperately hope will be better.
