This is Razer Project Ava, an AI that will help you progress in video games
, by Quentin
Razer has announced Project Ava at CES 2025. It's a gaming copilot based on artificial intelligence that analyzes footage of your games in real time in order to provide the best advice possible. Razer claims it uses millions of simulations to respond to the challenges you face.
In a demo with Black Myth: Wukong, Ava gave some recommendations on dodging and watching boss moves. Another demo showed Ava helping a League of Legends player, suggesting item choices and strategies based on real-time data and existing guides. After the game, Ava acted as a coach, offering a complete analysis and even replays to help you improve your performance.
The prototype was shown running on two RTX 4090s, though it showed delays in its responses. Razer is working on a patented algorithm to improve recommendations and propietary AI hardware to run this system. The company is also considering additional features, such as automatic system configuration or even organizing in-game raids.
Razer plans to announce more details at GDC in March and seems to want to position Ava as a future commercial service, despite the competition in this field.
