NVIDIA has unveiled DLSS 4 with Multi-Frame Generation, exclusive to RTX 50

During its keynote at CES 2025, NVIDIA unveiled DLSS 4 with Multi-Frame Generation, a new evolution of its upscaling technology. This feature promises to generate even more frames in advance. According to the company, DLSS 4 can deliver up to 8 times more performace in really demanding games such as Cyberpunk 2077.

In addition to general improvements to AI algorithms and models across all RTX series, the RTX 50 graphic cards will get a major breakthrough: the generation of three frames in advance instead of just one. This is made possible by the updated Reflex 2, which guarantees minimal latency. However, please do note that Multi-Frame Generation is exclusive to the RTX 50.

DLSS 4 will be compatible with 75 from launch, including Alan Wake 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Star Wars Outlaws and more.

Others will follow shortly, such as Black Myth: Wukong, Naraka: Bladepoint, Marvel Rivals and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

Games coming soon, such as Black State, DOOM: The Dark Ages and Dune Awakening will feature DLSS 4 from release.
