Laptops are getting their own RTX 50 series too, with some features tailored to this kind of gaming. Let's find out more.
For starters, the RTX 5090 for notebooks will come with 24 GB of GDDR7 memory and a 256-bit memory bus. It's the only model to feature 3 GB memory modules, though NVIDIA may use it with future SUPER or Ti models. The card has 10,496 CUDA cores and a TDP of 150 W.
The range also includes the RTX 5080, with 7,680 CUDA cores and 16 GB GDDR7 memory. The RTX 5070 Ti boasts 5,888 CUDA cores, while the RTX 5070 offers 4,608 CUDA cores. Of course, all those will support NVIDIA's new DLSS 4 technology and Multi Frame Generation.
NVIDIA has confirmed that the first laptops with RTX 50 GPUs will be available from March 2025. Systems featuring the RTX 5070 Ti, 5080 and 5090 will go first, while those with the RTX 5070 will go on sale in April.
