The Switch 2 could be as powerful as the PS4 Pro or higher
, by Thibaut
Among all the rumors surrounding the Switch 2, insiders and journalists are battling it out on social networks over the technical specs of the console. As you may know, there are plenty of details about Nintendo's next machine.
On X, The Verge journalist Tom Warren mocked reports suggesting that the Switch 2 could be as powerful as a PS4 Pro. This has prompted many comments, including that of John Linneman, who is part of the Digital Foundry YouTube channel.
He goes against Warren by stating that the Switch 2 will be superior to the PS4 Pro in certain aspects, all thanks to the use of a more modern Nvidia architecture. When used in handheld mode however, Nintendo's machine is bound to be more limited in a number of areas.
Of course, it's best to take all this with a grain of salt as of now, pending an official announcement from the Japanese company.
