The MSI Raider 18 HX NRE is a new gaming laptop featuring an Intel Core Ultra 9 285HX processor and an RTX 4070 GPU. The CPU has 24 cores (8 p-cores and 16 e-cores) with a base frequency of 2.8, though it could reach 5.8 GHz when boosted if the rumors are anything to go by.
This model is expected to come with 64 GB of RAM, but we don't have any details on its speed. As for the graphics card, the RTX 4070 may seem disappointing, as RTX 50 GPUs are expected at CES 2025 with a possible launch as early as Q1.
The current Raider 18 HX model comes with an 18" Mini-LED display with DisplayHDR 100. The next model could keep it or go for an OLED panel, all while maintining a total TDP of 250 W.
