We're getting to know more about the AYANEO 3 handheld with each passing day, and we've got further information on a central feature of this model: its modularity.
Thanks to a technology dubbed Magic Module: the company is proposing an innovative new approach that allows users to replace modules with different buttons and controller configurations to better suit its preferences.
There will be several modules available, including buttons (up to six), touchpads and more. These are held in place by magnets for fast and intuitive handling. The company has confirmed that those buttons can be reversed too.
For example, if you want to for for a lower d-pad, you can adjust it to your liking. The same goes for the ABXY buttons, that you can reposition at will if necessary.
In terms of technical specifications, the console comes with two APU options: the Ryzen Ai 9 HX 370 and the Ryzen 7 8840U. What's more, there's a black and white model, as well as LCD or OLED display.
