Sony confirms its interest in buying Kadokawa

This 2025, we may be witnessing one big takeover in the entertainment and video game sector. Indeed, Sony may be on the way to buy Kadokawa, the parent company of FromSoftware.

While the company responsible for Elden Ring and Dark Souls has confirmed all this affair, this wasn't the case for Sony. Fortunately, the company has mentioned it to Yahoo Japan.

"It's true that we have expressed our initial intentions. We would be grateful if you could refrain from any further comment."

Negotiations will keep going, and there may be an agreement in the coming weeks.
