A sequel to Elden Ring isn't in FromSoftware's plans just yet

After the PlayStation Partner Awards 2024, Hidetaka Miyazaki announced that FromSoftware is currently hard at work on several projects, and the studio's CEO didn't stop there.

Indeed, the Japanese creator also spoke of a new Elden Ring, and that there are no plans for this at present.

"We're not really considering any developments such as an Elden Ring 2", he said. However, the possibility of the license developing "in one form or another in the future" isn't out the table.
