Final Fantasy XIV has been officially announced for mobile

Square Enix's critically acclaimed MMORPG will soon make its way to mobile devices. Lightspeed Studios, a Tencent subsidiary, is in charge of Final Fantasy XIV Mobile.
The director and producer of the fourteenth entry in the franchise, Naoki Yoshida, is overseeing this portable version. Players will once again find themselves in the world of Eorzea, where they'll have to face the famous primordials. There are many races available to choose from, and nine jobs accesible at launch. Of course, you can play it alone or with others.
The first playtests will start soon in China, and they will be followed by a worldwide release on a date yet to be announced.
