The scenario for third Final Fantasy VII Remake game is now complete

The trilogy of remakes of Final Fantasy VII is coming to an end with one last episode that's eagerly awaited.

During the G-Con 2024 in South Korea, producer Yoshinori Kitase spoke about the third entry, pointing out that the scenario is now complete and that Square Enix is hard at work on development itself.

Kitase also spoke brielfy on the open-world aspect of the game.

"Final Fantasy VII Rebirth offered a vast map, but in the third game, the Highwind (the airship) will make its appearance, so we have to let you discover the world from a higher point of view."

"We won't cheat with the airship, and we'll let players fly freely across the map."
