Hundreds of Bethesda employees go on strike this Wednesday

ZeniMax Media, the mother company of Bethesda Softworks, is currently taking major action. Several hundred employees in four separate offices in Maryland and Texas are on strike.

The strike will take place this Wednesday, November 13, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time. Employees are protesting against Microsoft's « unilateral » decision to outsource quality assurance work to teams outside the company. The company has refused to negotiate with the Communications Workers of America union on this issue. Staff fear further job cuts if the American firm persists in this direction.

The strikers also point the finger at Microsoft's teleworking policy. The multinational is pushing for a more systematic return to the office.
