Take-Two not worried about Xbox Series S performance for GTA VI

There are many questions surrounding GTA VI at the moment. Many of these questions have been addressed to Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two Interactive.

During the investor conference, he was asked whether the Xbox Series S represents a problem for Rockstar. Indeed, it's a much less powerful console than the PS5 and Xbox Series X. A great deal of optimization work could be required to enable *GTA VI to run on this machine.

However, Zelnick was not worried at all. He said that Rockstar Games always finds "a way to support platforms despite different levels of technology ". He also added that the developers "are very good at it ”, so he's not worried.

The CEO also took the opportunity to reiterate his attachment to the PC, although Grand Theft Auto VI is currently only announced for consoles in 2025.
