AMD's Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor spotted in a database
, by Quentin
While AMD officially launched its Ryzen 7 9800X3D yesterday at a price of $479, other 3D V-Cache-equipped processors could also be in the pipeline, including a certain Ryzen 9 9950X3D.
This model was reportedly spotted via a benchmark carried out in the Factorio game, where a result was submitted for a 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X3D. This is the first leak concerning this model.
So someone already has access to this processor and seems to be testing it. Whether this is an AMD employee or a partner remains to be seen. To be continued.
