Resident Evil 4 sold over 3 million copies in just 48 hours

To say that the Resident Evil 4 remake was a success is an understatement. Capcom has just announced that its game has sold more than 3 million units in the first two days of its release. This installment already ranks fifteenth in the best-selling of the saga, ahead of Code Veronica.

Since its creation in 1996, the series has shipped over 135 million games worldwide. A figure that should logically evolve very favorably for Capcom in the coming years. We can imagine that a real ninth episode will arrive soon, along with remakes and other spin-offs.
