The American giant is likely to bet big into gaming once again. 9to5Mac reports that there's a brand-new app for video games in the works.
This iOS app would combine features from both the App Store and Game Center. sers would be able to take over their existing Game Center profile and access their library of games, achievements and friends list. Titles that can be purchased from the App Store and via Apple Arcade would also be there.
Apple is also said to be considering adding FaceTime and iMessage to allow users to interact with each other. The overall app of the mobile application would be similar to that of Xbox. In any case, the launch could take place with the iOS 18 or iOS 19 update.
