Alan Wake 2 will get update on October 22 to celebrate the game's anniversary

Available since October 2023, Alan Wake 2 will celebrate its first anniversary in style this week. To mark the occasion, Remedy will launch a free update on October 22 across all platforms.

The update will bring accesibility options such as the ability to reverse the x axis (the horizontal one) when playing, be it with a joystick or k/m. PS5 players will be able to use the DualSense gyroscope to aim, and there will be new haptic feedback for healing and thrown objets.

What's more, there will be an option to turn the character quickly, QTEs will be able to be completed automatically and infinite ammunition and batteries, invulnerability and kill in a single blow will be added to the game.
