Nintendo didn't miss a beat and today shared a good dozen minutes of gameplay from the Breath of the Wild sequel. Exploration, skills, and new means of locomotion at Link's disposal are all on display.
Specifically, our hero will be able to use the Amalgam technique, allowing objects to be combined. For example, a hammer can be made by joining a branch to a rock. In addition, Link will be able to use the Retrospect power, which reverses the movement of an object. The Clinging technique is helpful for gluing several things together (three tree trunks to create a makeshift raft). Finally, the Infiltration power is used to break through any ceiling.
Eiji Aonuma has also taken the opportunity to confirm the existence of the OLED edition for Nintendo Switch of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. It will be released on April 28, 2023. It should be noted that the game, which will be released on May 12, will be sold separately. A Switch Pro controller and a carrying case will be sold as well.
