S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will reach 60 FPS on Xbox Series X... and maybe on Series S too
, by Thibaut
This week, the press had the chance to get up close and personal with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. In an interview, GSC Game World had some great news for console gamers.
On Xbox Series X, the game will run at around 60 FPS. The developers point out that the framerate could drop to 55 FPS in some areas, but they hope to work it out before release.
Another very interesting detail is that, while the Ukranian studio is aiming for 30 FPS on Xbox Series S, the game reaches the 60 FPS in several specific cases, so a 60 FPS performance mode is being considered. It remains to be seen wheter it will be ready for the game's launch on November 20.
