Will The Last of Us Part I be compatible with the Steam Deck upon release?

It is this Tuesday, March 28th, that Ellie and Joel arrive on our computers for the first time. The Last of Us Part I is a remake of the original game released on PS3 in 2013. The engine of the second installment has been reused and some adjustments are noteworthy on the gameplay side. The story, on the other hand, has not changed one bit.

As for today's good news, PCGamesN noticed that Naughty Dog's title appears briefly in the presentation video of the Steam Deck. An appearance that seems to suggest the immediate compatibility of The Last of Us Part I with Valve's machine. The information, however, remains to be confirmed.
