Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag remake may release sooner than we thought

Back in June 2023, we got the first rumors about an Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag remake. However, we also learned that the project was still in its infancy and several years away.

Today, Insider Gaming is back with some encouraging info. An internal documento not public yet states that development is quite advanced, and that the game targeted release date would be November 2025.

That said, the recent delay of Assassin's Creed Shadows would have turned the IP's releases schedule upside down, and Assassin's Creed IV Remake may have been postponed too. Insider Gaming has also seen some gameplay footage of the game running on an enhanced version of the Anvil Engine.
