The Persona creators are coming back next month with a brand-new IP called Metaphor: ReFantazio. However, Atlus hasn't forgotten its favorite franchise, and it's got a sixth entry in development.
This week, we got some insider info about Persona 6. However, it comes from a fairly unknown source, so it's better to take it with a gran of salt. The game is scheduled for launch in the summer of 2025, with DLC coming over the three next years, with character skins and more substantial expansions.
As previously announced, the color of this entry will be green. There will be two playable characters, Kuro and Shiro. However, the male hero is said to be the main one. The story is set in an art school, with a kind of duality between modern and more traditional art.
It is also said that Persona 6 will have a semi-open world. Social links could be more in-depth, and choices made during the adventure could have greater consequences for the story.
Finally, Atlus has reportedly decided to announce it at TGS 2024, to be held from September 26 to 29. Persona 6 should be available on current-generation machines.
