Nine years after release, the PC version of GTA V has received an anti-cheat solution

Better late than never! This has never been truer than it is for Grand Theft Auto V on PC. Released over nine years ago, this version finally has an anti-cheating software.

Indeed, the update spotted on SteamDB states that Rockstar Games has opted for BattlEye software. While the news has been received quite favorably, some users fear that mods will end up not working following the addition of the tool.

It should be noted that BattlEye is not the most effective anti-cheat solution on the market, though it is used on games such as Rainbow Six Siege.
