The Flappy Bird creator is not involved in the new game

Surprising as it may seem, Flappy Bird is set to return in 2025 with a comeback that probably didn't get the green light from the franchise's creator.
On X.com, Dong Nguyen has distanced himself from the project.
"No, I have no related with their game. I did not sell anything. I also don't support crypto."
With this last sentence, Nguyen is talking about Michael Roberts, the director behind this new Flappy Bird, who is linked to a cryptocurrency company called 1208 Productions.
