Diablo IV microtransactions would have generated $150 million in revenues for Blizzard

Like many games on the market now, Diablo IV relies on the sales of skins and plenty of other packs to make money over the long term. This strategy has clearly paid off for Blizzard.

According to product manager Harrison Froeschke on LinkedIn, who has since deleted the psot, the fourth entry has brought in around $150 million in ervenue from microtransactions alone.

Froeschke added that, taking into account everything from the release of Diablo IV to pre-orders for the first expansion, the game has generated over $1 billion.
