Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 gets rave reviews from the press

Here's the blockbuster for the fall season! Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive have joined forces to bring us the action-packed Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 on consoles and PC from September 9. Those who have bought the Gold or Ultra editions can start playing now.

The press verdict is in, and the scores are good. The Metacritic average is 84% on PC (43 reviews), 81% on PS5 (27 reviews) and 82% on Xbox Series X (16 reviews). Meanwhile, the game has reached an 84% on OpenCritic with 55 reviews.

Critics love the title's superb production values, the campaign, the brutal combat system and the fun PvP and PvE modes. However, the game can end up being repetitive, the battles can be a little chaotic and the single-player campaign is rather short.
