The developers of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 are working on a AAA first-person shooter set in a familiar universe

After the quite excellent Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 in September 2024, the Saint Petersburg-based Saber Interactive studio is hiring for a new project. It will likely be a very ambitious title set in a well-known franchise.

The job posting for a senior narrative designer mentions an AAA FPS developed using Unreal Engine 5. The story takes place in "a well-known universe" whose name has not been revealed yet. This project will feature a "compelling story", which suggests it could be a single-player experience (with possible co-op).

It’s worth noting that Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 was officially announced in March 2025.
