Here are the major announcements from the Call of Duty NEXT event

This Wednesday August 28, Activision held its Call of Duty NEX event, dedicated to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone. Of course, we got some juicy news during it.

The four-hour show featured plenty of gameplay for Treyarch's multiplayer and Zombies modes.

The beta, due to start on August 30, was there too. It will require a download of 32,4 GB in addition to the base game, for a total of 72.7 GB. The demo will come with eight maps.

We have also got a new Resurgence map for Warzone, called "Area 99". This map is based on the history of Nuketown, one of the most famous maps in the license.

Let's add to this a brief presentation of one of the two maps that will be included in the "Zombies" mode: Liberty Falls. Of course, it's chock-full of terrible creatures.

Finally, still on the Call of Duty Warzone side, the ranked battle royale mode will land on Urzikstan during Season 1 R,eloaded, while the Verdansk map will return in Spring 2025.
