Astro Bot features many cameos... with even an Xbox character included

Like its predecessor, the new Astro Bot, due September 6 on PS5, will feature plenty of easter eggs and nods to several well-known IPs.

In an interview in PlayStation Blog, Nicolas Doucet, the game's creative director, talks at length about these cameos, which will feature iconic characters from all PlayStation's history.

For example, the famous robots will dress as Kratos, Nathan Drake, Aloy, Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank. This is no surprise, as all these characters belong to sony. However, there are "more cartoony VIPs", and that's where things get interesting.

There we find Crash Bandicoot, now under Xbox umbrella since the buyout of Activision Blizzard. Nevertheless, is presence is only logical, given that the franchise was born on the first PlayStation.
