Astro Bot runs on XBOX Series X now thanks to the KytyPS5 emulator

Emulation really does have almost no limits anymore! Little by little, the boundaries between different platforms are breaking down, and manufacturers have yet to find a way to stem the tide.

In fact, several users have managed to port the KytyPS5 emulator to the XBOX Series X as a UWP (Universal Windows Platform) app in developer mode. Several games from the PlayStation 5 catalog already launch on Microsoft’s console with audio support and controller functionality.

This method allows, for example, Astro Bot to run on the Xbox Series X. For now, the experience is far from optimal, as the frame rate is only 10 FPS. There’s still a lot of work to be done...
