Visual Concepts South (LEGO 2K Drive) has been hit by layoffs

While all eyes were on Gamescom, Visual Concepts South were hit by a wave of redundancies last week.

The division, which belongs to Visual Concepts and in turn to 2K Games, is known for its work on LEGO 2K Drive. On X.com, a 3D artist has stated that the majority of the team she worked with has been laid off. The artist herself suffered the same fate a year earlier.

While we don't know just how many people have been affected, other now former employees have stated on LinkedIn that they have been made redundant.
