Tango Gameworks is now a 50-strong team under Krafton

After microsoft announced the closure of Tango Gameworks, the Japanese studio responsible for The Evil Within, Ghostwire Tokyo and Hi-Fi RUSH was acquired by Krafton.

While this is obviously good news, the studio's staff has been greatly reduced. According to a statement by the publisher behind PUBG, Tango now has around 50 people in its ranks, compared with 105 last March.

Let's be clear, Krafton is not to blame for these departures, as developers sought and found work just after the studio's closure. It remains to be seen whether the new publisher will start recruiting.

Tango Gameworks will keep on working on Hi-Fi RUSH.
