The BioShock movie is still in production, but with a more limited budget

Announced for February 2022, the film adaptation of BioShock is directed by Francis Lawrence and Netflix. Recently, producer Roy Lee gave a brief update on the project.
While the film is still in the works, it has been "reconfigured" and is "more personal" now. It seems the budget has been scaled back, but we don't have a release date still.
