Apex Legends' new battle passes can still be bought with Apex Coins
, by Thibaut
Earlier this month, Respawn Entertainment announced some changes to its Battle Pass policy.
Instead of one 110-level Battle Pass per season, there will be two with 60 levels each. This means that player will have to pay twice in order to enjoy the full seasonal content. Added to this is the fact that users will have to spend real money now to purchase these passes, rather than Apex Coins.
Respawn has backed off since in response to the widespread criticism. When Season 22 launches on August 6, the first pass will be obtainable "by completing a series of simple in-game challenges". The second will be available by spending 950 Apex Coincs, and each future pass will contain enough currency to buy the next.
Last but not least, Season 22 will come with a numer of fixes and improvements to the game.
