Activision has sold the first skin created in part by AI in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III

WIRED has dropped quite the bomb in its latest article on the use of artificial intelligence in the video game industry. Indeed, Activision has used this kind of tool in the latest Call of Duty as of now.

The report states that the Yokai's Wrath skin in Modern Warfare III was made in part using AI. Activision Blizzard has been using AI in its games since the beginning of 2023, all to save time and money.

A former dev has told Insider Gaming that his management bragged about using AI tools like Midjourney to reduce production times. The company's employees were also encouraged to use this tool by their bosses.
