Aliens Fireteam Elite 2 has been leaked with a stolen document
, by Thibaut
Aliens Fireteam Elite released back in August 2021, and it seems the game is getting a sequel. We know of it thanks to a document that has sort of appeared on forums and social networks out of nowhere.
The file in question tells us that Aliens Fireteam Elite 2 is codenamed Project Macondo, and it's scheduled for release on PlayStation, Xbox and PC in the third quarter of 2025. The game will retain the third-person co-op aspect.
As for the game's actual content, we're talking about a campaign of 10 to 12 missions that will take a total of 8 to 12 hours' playtime to complete. The game could feature 9 enemy types, 3 to 5 character packs and 13 different weapons. There are rumors of an Annihilation mode, with a map containing 1 or 4 to 6 arenas.
Finally, Aliens Fireteam Elite 2 is said to feature preset characters that cannot be customized.
