Xbox Game Pass Standard tier could include new releases 6 to 12 months after launch

Microsoft's service is about to undergo some major changes. In addition to higher prices, Game Pass is welcoming a new Standard tier in September.
This package will be priced at $14.99, but won't include cloud gaming or new releases at launch.
According to journalist Jez Corden, Microsoft has opted to include these new games later, with delays ranging from 6 to 12 months or longer and on a case-by-case basis.
