, by Quentin
Ubisoft has announced yet another partnership, this time with Double Jump.Tokyo to "accelerate" the worldwide adoption of Web3 games with Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles. A series of NFTs will be made available to players worldwide. This is not a first for Ubisoft, as back in 2021, the company announced Quartz, an NFT platform that didn't work so well.
Now, the company has joined forces with Double Jump.Tokyo to integrate Web3 into Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles. Here's what the press release says:
"Joining forces with Ubisoft marks a significant milestone for double jump.tokyo. We are thrilled to explore the potential of web3 and digital ownership in gaming alongside Ubisoft".
"Partnering with a renowned global industry leader like Ubisoft empowers us to continue our unwavering pursuit of delivering exceptional games to communities while accelerating the worldwide adoption of web3 gaming technology."
Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles is a turn-based competitive multiplayer RPG scheduled for release on PC in 2024.
