Despite the mixed reviews, The First Descendant is off to a good start on Steam

Available as a free-to-play game, The First Descendant is a new cooperative third-person looter shooter in which you have to take down bosses and get better equipment.

With such classic formula, NEXON's newest title has garnered some mixed reviews on Steam, with only 46% of positive opinions out of the almost 12,000 published. Users point to the game's lack of originality, even referring to it as a worse Destiny.

Nevertheless, The First Descendant got off to a good start, with a peak of 229,257 concurrent players on Steam.
