Final Fantasy XIV director apologizes for Dawntrail's launch problems

The release of Dawntrail, the latest expansion to Final Fantasy XIV, hasn't gone without its fair share of problems. In fact, there are plenty of bugs and technical problems on almost all platforms.

For example, Xbox players have seen their game crash when going from one zone to another. What's more, there are serious problems with skills and even animations. So much so that Naoki Yoshida, the MMO's director, had to apologize.

"Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who has been playing Dawntrail since the start of early access. However, I would like to offer my sincere apologies regarding the issues that we have identified [...]."

Yoshida added that his teams are currently investigating all of these issues, and that a hotfix may be out later this week.
