Palworld's latest patch boosts player numbers on Steam

Although it got off to a strong start when it was released last January, the Palword phenomenon quickly ran out of steam as months went by. But thanks to the launch of its latest update, Pocketpair's title is enjoying a second lease of life.

Indeed, the [SteamDB] site (https://steamdb.info/app/1623730/charts/) has recorded a peak of 143,369 simultaneous players on the Steam version over the last 24 hours, which represents an increase of almost 700%, compared with an average of 15,000 before the patch.

The update adds a new island, as well as more Pals, items and enemies.
